You, or people you know, may have fallen for common #scams online ranging from persuading the masses to copy nonsense “legal declarations” in their online posts, sharing competitions from fake pages (with no blue ‘verified’ badge). These may not be the end of the world, but viruses, malware and #ransomware attack like the #Wannacry virus (which crippled the NHS in the UK and cost £92m) can be truly catastrophic. We ask how did Wannacry spread, as well as the infamous wannacry kill switch!
We also give some top tips on how to avoid getting scammed online, what to do if you have been scammed online and how to know if you’re being scammed on the phone. Also, what to do if you think you’re being scammed. My advice is to play along (without revealing private info or following instructions) to waste their time and protect other would-be victims!

Everything you’ve ever posted becomes public from today Even messages that have been deleted or the photos not allowed. It costs nothing for a simple copy and paste, better safe than sorry. NOTE: Facebook is now a public entity. All members must post a note like this. If you prefer, you can copy and paste this version. If you do not publish a statement at least once it will be tacitly allowing the use of your photos, as well as the information contained in the profile status updates.
